Let’s connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Facultative Reinsurance team at our headquarters in Hanover / Germany, join us on a permanent basis, commencing at the earliest possible date as an Underwriter International.
You can look forward to
- Negotiation of facultative reinsurance contracts with clients from various European countries
- Reviewing and underwriting facultative risks in liability insurance, including contract negotiations
- Analysing the insurance and reinsurance market (in various European countries)
- Expanding contacts with existing customers and maintaining the portfolio
- Co-creation of innovative reinsurance concepts
- Participation in specialist events and congresses to keep up to date with industry developments
- Customer communication and support as well as contract management
You come equipped with
- A successfully completed degree in economics or law; commercial insurance training with a focus on liability insurance or a comparable qualification
- Initial experience in facultative primary insurance and/or reinsurance in the liability sector would be desirable
- Proficient user skills in English, independent user skills in German combined with communication skills
- Willingness to go on regular business trips, approx. three to four times a year
- An international mindset, talent for negotiation, networking skills and enthusiasm for cementing our market position among the top reinsurers
